Steve Phillipi has successfully represented the victims of serious personal injury and wrongful death for nearly 25 years. His cases include motor vehicle collisions, products liability, premises liability, slip/trip and falls, construction accidents, dog bites and medical malpractice. On behalf of his clients, Steve has recovered millions of dollars, by way of settlement and verdict. He is admitted to practice before all Courts of the State of California, the U.S. Federal Courts in California, and the United States Supreme Court. Steve is known and respected in the legal community.
Steve graduated from UCLA (cum laude) in 1980 and from Loyola Law School (cum laude) in 1983. He has been practicing law in Southern California since being admitted to the bar in December, 1983. His office has been in Pasadena since 1985. Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory has rated Steve’s practice as “AV” (very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards). For many years, Steve has been on AARP’s panel of recommended attorneys.
Steve served for years on the Board of Governors of the Consumer Attorneys of California and received its Medal of Honor. He is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Pasadena Bar Association and State Bar of California. Steve has lectured at Loyola Law School and at seminars sponsored by the State of California’s Continuing Education of the Bar and the Consumer Attorneys of California. For years, Steve has acted as a judge pro tem, arbitrator and settlement officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Active in his community, Steve has served as a commissioner on the City of Arcadia’s Recreation and Parks Commission, as the President of the Arcadia High School Athletic Boosters and as a trustee of his church.
